Closing Tips

  • Download the Grab app before your trip. It will come in handy for ride bookings between attractions.
  • Consider trying a ride on the tuk-tuk as an alternative form of transport. The tuk-tuk is a motorized 3-wheeled rickshaw that ferry passengers around Bangkok.
  • While taxi and Grab rides are often cheap, the traffic conditions in Bangkok could be rather bad. You can consider taking the BTS during peak hours to avoid being caught in a jam.
  • You might probably have heard of Jeh-o-chula for their Tom Yum Goong. While the food is rather good, it might not justify the long queueing times. Consider ordering food delivery for Jeh-o-chula via Grabfood instead of joining the queue.
