These long-duration plans are best suited for frequent flyers who will be making frequent trips yearly, cutting the hassle of getting a new eSIM for each trip. It also provides frequent flyers with the opportunity to enjoy cost-savings with less data wastage as you draw down on the same eSIM plan across your trips.

How is Global-EX different from Nomad’s Global eSIMs?

Well, the primary difference is the duration of the plans! Nomad’s Global-EX plans have much longer durations than the current Global eSIM.

The Global-EX plan sizes are also much larger, but you will be able to enjoy a lower cost-per-GB for these plans, essentially providing a more cost-efficient option for travelers who will be planning to make multiple trips per year.

While Global-EX provides coverage in less countries (81 destinations) compared to Nomad’s Global plans (109 destinations), Global-EX offers coverage in major destinations.
