Everland's Summer Water Fun Festival is one of the most highly anticipated events in Everland, and also one of the most popular summer attractions in South Korea. This year, Everland Summer Water Fun Festival is back with the theme 'Water Stellar'. The concept for this theme is that Water Stellar is a planet where clear and cool water is abundant. This mysterious planet gets invaded, resulting in rising temperatures. Visitors to the park will transform into Water Rangers and save the planet from danger.

The festival will take place from 23 June 2023 to 27 August 2023.

Highlights of Water Stellar 2023

The theme park will transform into a battle zone to protect Water Stellar from succumbing to the invasion. In addition to the many exciting rides in the park, there will be special events that you can look forward to when visiting the park.

One of the highlights of this year's event is the Nerf Water Battle Zone, which is held in collaboration with Hasbro. Yup- you got it right, it's a battle zone where you will take part in a shooting game using Nerf guns and water guns! The battle zone is open from 12pm to 7pm daily. You're sure to get wet in this area, so prepare a towel and a change of clothes if you will be taking part in this.

The water play yard is an area around the Rose Garden. It is a free water play area, perfect for those who want to cool down in the hot summer sun. If you will be traveling with children, they are also sure to enjoy their time at this water play area. The area is open from 1pm to 7pm daily.

Water and Light Shows

Of course, a highlight of Everland's series of Water Fun Festival is the water and light shows. There are a couple of shows that you can catch this year: the music water BaMM show at the Rose castle fountain which takes place hourly from 1pm to 6pm; and the Shooting Water Fun performance and BamBam Club show. And when night falls, Everland lights up with a multimedia show: EVERTOPIA.

And for those looking to enjoy a night out with good music, there will be a water DJ party that takes place on 22nd July.

Zoo Experiences

Everland is not only a theme park — there is also a zoological area in the park premises. In line with the summer water fun festival, there are also some unique experiences to check out in the zoo area.

Visit the firefly experience at the Lost Valley Training Centre and get close and personal with these magical creatures that light up the night sky. Advanced reservations and separate charges (10,000 - 15,000 KRW) are required for this experience. Book your slots in advance here.

Summer Menu

The restaurants in the park have also updated their menus to include seasonal food items. What better way than to cool down in the summer heat than to have a bowl of icy cold naengmyeon? Or head over to Garden Terrace for a bowl of sweet and refreshing patbingsu (red bean bingsu) or berry bingsu!

Other Attractions

Aside from the Water Stellar festivities, Everland by itself has many great attractions. Some of their most popular rides include the T-Express, Hurricane, and Rolling X-Train. And if you are an animal lover, do set aside some time to explore the zoological area — you can hop onto the safari bus and have a tour around the open safari area. And in summer especially, you might want to hop over to Caribbean Bay, which is a water theme park within the Everland premises.

There are also shows throughout the day. If you would like to catch some of these shows, check out the show schedule here.
